With the constant endeavor to support the evolution of the independent music, Universal Music MENA is proud to announce the release of “NOW The Best of Indie Arabia” Vol.2 with another array of independent creatives on the alternative music scene with an introspective approach.
Following the success of volume one released in 2016; this edition brings further diversity of alternative music ranging from oriental, Rock, Folk, world and Hip Hop to encompass the genres and introduce more and more original artists from the various Arabic cultures and districts.
An outstanding palette of artists gathered on this release with the best of their music reflecting varied backgrounds, artistic journeys and stories : Abeer Nehme from Lebanon, Souad Massi from Algeria; Apo & The Apostles from Palestine; Mais Harb from Syria; Sharmoofers from Egypt; OUM from Morocco; Ghalia Ben Ali from Tunisia; Mok Saib from Morocco; Cairokee from Egypt; Hana Malhas from Jordan; Sarah El Gohary from Egypt; Nova Emad from Iraq; Tarek from Saudi Arabia; Karima Nayt from Algeria and Mafar from Palestine.
