Shish Taouk Kebobs (Chicken breasts kebobs)
This is how I marinate my chicken kebobs.
In Montreal we’re lucky to find them marinated in our Middle-eastern stores, but I prefer to prepare with my own freshly prepared ingredients, adding my preferred oil (olive oil), it’s as good as ready marinated ones even better.Enjoy.

Ingredients:
2 kilos fresh skinless, boneless chicken breasts
20 cloves,peeled garlic
3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1-1/2 cups plain yogurt
3 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
3 tablespoons white regular vinegar
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
3 teaspoons coarse sea salt
21-22 bamboo skewers soaked in water

Here’s how to soak bamboo skewers.
Place the bamboo skewers in wide plastic Tupperware.Fill with tap water, make sure the skewers are fully submerged. Allow the skewers to soak for a minimum of 20 minutes, and up to 3-4 hours.

Preparation:
1.Wash under cold water the chicken breasts, pat dry with paper towel, cut into medium-large square cubes
2. In the container of electric hand blender, add garlic cloves, olive oil, salt, black pepper, blend for one minute, until all garlic is mashed.Add vinegar, lemon juice, blend for a second, you’ll have mayonnaise style kind of thick sauce.
3.Transfer garlic oil solution into a medium bowl, add yogurt, mix with a fork until all combined.
4.Pour over cubed chicken breasts, mix well, cover refrigerate at least 24 hours.
5. Arrange chicken kabobs on a soaked bamboo skewers and BBQ. on a preheated gas grill, both sides.
6.Transfer barbequed kebobs to a dish, cover well with aluminum foil for 20 minutes ,then serve.
