Lea Makhoul surprises fans with a seductive Latino track. ‘Ay Amor’ is a perfect mix of the artist’s flair for dance and sultry passion.
The Lebanese-French pop singer does not let a language barrier stop her from creating what she has always dreamed of. Lea continuously challenges herself by releasing songs in Arabic, English, French and now, for the first time, in Spanish. ‘Ay Amor’ is sung eloquently reminding us of her daring attitude and bold performances.
For this release, Lea spent time trying to perfect her Spanish accent hoping it would connect deeply with listeners around the world. Lea moves between the languages quite effortlessly, as she also adds a special melody of her own into each word giving ‘Ay Amor’ a natural (dance-floor-ready) rhythm.
From different corners of the world, the singer worked with producer Ryan Morales and composer Rubi Castillo in Texas. The bilingual lyrics were written by Rubi Castillo and Amine Najjar.
Lea Makhoul explains how “…Ay Amor is a sensual song about being absolutely crazy for someone and having the inability to resist the urge to want to be with them. The song lays out those feelings to the other person.”
‘Ay Amor’ reminds us of the renowned Shakira. In both the way it sounds and makes us move. It is not surprising that the young artist opened for Jenifer Lopez and Camila Cabello with concerts and music festivals in Dubai.
The singer-dancer’s ability to put on a performance is outstanding, making her a tempting artist to watch. With practiced-to-perfect choreographed routines, and original songs the artist’s spotlight keeps getting brighter.
‘Ay Amor’ is out on all platforms with an anticipated music video to come out soon
