Swiss chard with Tahini ( sesame seeds) sauce. Lenten food
Another side dish to serve with vegetarian Swiss chard Sarma or Swiss chard vegetarian casserole, it’s tasty addition to your favourite sandwich too.Enjoy

Ingredients:
1 medium Swiss chard (1 cup cooked ) stalks and leaves chopped to small pieces
1 cup tahini
1/2 cup of water
juice of 3 lemons (1/2 cup)
1 teaspoon coarse sea salt
4 medium-large cloves garlic, mashed with salt (garlic paste).

Preparation:
1.Wash few times Swiss chard .Slice finely the leaves and dice the stakes.
2.Boil water in amedium pot, add chopped Swiss chard and cook over high heat uncovered for 7 minutes.
3.Drain in colander keep aside to cool. Squeeze the juices and place in fridge to cool completely.(or prepare overnight and keep in fridge)
4.Mash garlic with salt.
5.In a medium bowl add mashed garlic,squeezed lemon juice,tahini and 1/2 cup water mix with fork few minutes until you obtain creamed like sauce.
6.Add 1 cup cooked cold Swiss chard mix until all combined.
Serve cold .
