Hummus / Delicious appetizer/- Chickpeas cooked in my slow cooker.
Ingredients :
3 cups of cooked chickpeas (you can use ready cooked in cans 796ml.28fl oz rinse few times and drain)
1/2 cup tahini sauce (sesame paste)
2 freshly squeezed lemon juice
3 cloves of garlic
2 tablespoons water for tahini sauce and 1/4 cup water when mashing cooked or ready in can chickpeas.
1/2 teaspoon kosher sea salt
Extra virgin olive oil to drizzle over hummus
for decoration cayenne pepper ,and cumin
Preparation:
1.In a large bowl add the cooked drained chickpeas ,water and mash with electric hand blender very well.
2.In another small container,of hand blender put garlic, salt, lemon juice , tahini sauce,and water mash them until smooth mixture.
3.Add tahini lemon garlic sauce, to cooked mashed chickpeas,again using blender blend all together very well.
4.Arrange in plate and decorate with cayenne pepper ,cumin and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and serve. Enjoy,healthy and delicious.
