Freshly baked honey cookies, coated with honey,sprinkled with walnuts and sesame seeds toppings, you must try, it’s very tasty. Enjoy

Ingredients:
1/2 cup room temperature unsalted butter
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup freshly squeezed orange juice (about 3 medium oranges)
2 cups plain flour
1 cup self-raising flour(to make self raising flour simply add 1 cup flour and 1-1/4 teaspoon baking powder,combine)
1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest

syrup:
1 cup pure honey

For topping :
1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Preparation:
1.In a electric cake mixer add butter , sugar mix until combined add oil ,lemon zest beat until mixture is light and fluffy.
2.Change cake mixer handle to dough mixer,add sifted flour,walnuts and pour slowly orange juice mix to a soft dough.
3.Roll the dough and make 40 egg shapes each 1 tablespoon size,flatten slightly with your finger tips, pinch together middle of shaped dough making a straight line, mark and press with small fork both sides of biscuits .
4.Arrange shaped biscuits into lightly greased baking sheet, and bake at 350 degrees F.for 40 minutes ,or until browned Stand biscuits on oven baking sheet 5 minutes before placing on wire rack to cool.
5.In two separate small dishes put chopped walnuts and sesame seed.
6.Heat honey in a small sauce pan until just warm,use thong to dip and coat baked biscuits about 1/2 minute,transfer to a dish immediately sprinkle with chopped walnuts then sesame seeds and place on wire rack over baking sheet,leave for 30 minutes .
Serve with coffee or tea ,keep in airtight container in fridge.
