Tasty salmon casserole. First I broiled both potatoes and onions,then I baked with the fish turned very good.Enjoy

Ingredients:
800-gr. wild salmon fillet
10 medium potatoes
10 medium onions
4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (2 tablespoons to brush over potatoes and 2 tablespoons for onions)
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon coarse sea salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 small onions cut each into four pieces
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Preparation:
1.Peel wash and slice potatoes into1/2cm.rounds.Place them in large baking sheet brush with 2 tablespoons olive oil and broil them in oven, only the top part,take out of oven,keep aside.
2.Peel and slice onions into 1/2cm.rounds.Place them in a baking sheet,brush with 2 tablespoons olive oil and broil only the top,take out of oven and keep aside.
3.In container of hand blender,add 3 tablespoons olive oil,onion pieces,garlic powder,paprika,salt,black pepper and mash few seconds, until smooth mixture.
4.Rinse the salmon fillet under cold running water.Place on counter top several sheets of newspaper, top with plastic wrap and lay the fish fillet on top,grab the fish fillet and start to scrape away the scales with a special tool or knife.Discard the newspapers and rinse the fillet under running water to get rid of any scales.Cut the fillet into six equal pieces.
5.Preheat oven 400 degrees F. .Grease lightly a large baking dish,place salmon fillets on top,brush with spice mixture,and arrange broiled potatoes between and around the dish, top with broiled onions.
6.Cover baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes.Uncover and cook for 5 minutes.
Serve hot with your favorite salad
